Is Bono a Christian? Are U2 Christian?

Is Bono a Christian? Absolutely not. Was he ever? Possibly, but not for decades, if ever. Can I prove it? Sure.

Long before they were famous, U2 played a benefit for the Contraception Action Campaign. Behind them on stage, their signs read "Free Legal and Safe Contraception" and "No Discrimination Against Artificial Contraception Users". Why would a Christian group play a benefit for condoms and birth control pills?

In a Time magazine interview, U2 basically said "We just use religion to sell records".

The following are interpretations of some U2 songs. Not all of the meanings below were intended by U2.

Bad

When Bono sings "I'm wide awake/ I'm not sleeping", he isn't talking about having a cup of coffee.

This is coded adept language to indicate that he has been "illuminated" by lucifer. Anyone lacking this forbidden knowledge is considered by Bono to be "asleep".

Here is a similar analogy from Katy Perry:

"Yeah, I was in the dark...I was dreaming for so long"

"I have spoke with the tongue of angels [John Dee's "angelic" Enochian language]/ I have held the hand of a devil/ Only to be with you". Did he hold the hand of a devil to be with God? Of course not. He is referring to lucifer.

"...I was cold as a stone [cold-blooded, living dead]/ But I still haven't found what I'm looking for [i.e. "Jesus was not what I am looking for"].

"All the colors will bleed into one" [violence will combine all races into the bloodline of Cain for the new world order].

"You [Jesus] carried the cross/ And my shame/ You know I believed it [note the past tense]/ But I still haven't found what I'm looking for".

With or Without You

"On a bed of nails she makes me wait [fakir/faker]...my hands are tied, my body bruised..." [S & M, comparing himself to Jesus].

"You give yourself away" (losing one's virginity, also Bono giving his secrets away).

Running to Stand Still

"...Seven Towers...but I see only one way out...I took the poison from the poison stream then floated out of here" [This is Ballymun in Ireland, but also the Turkish Castle of Seven Towers (Yedikule): "One way out"=the Golden Gate. "Took the poison from the poison stream"=took the bloodline of Cain, sold his soul]. At Yedikule, prisoners were "pounded alive in a mortar" until dead. "(A prisoner) called to Jehovah and there came water out of (the mortar hole); and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived".

[In the illuminati] "You've got to cry without weeping/ Talk without speaking [symbols]/ Scream without raising your voice".

"She will suffer the needle chill [heroin]/ She's running to stand still [addicted]".

"She brings me white gold and pearls" [Bono is the drug dealer, just as he was in the movie Strawberry Fields].

Red Hill Mining Town

On an obvious level, this song is about mining. On the next level, it is about spiritual transformation.

"...There's no going back/ Through hands of steel and a heart of stone...You're all that's left to hold on to [lucifer]...Our love runs cold in the caverns of the night...and we scorch the Earth, set fire to the sky [illumination]/ Stoop so low to reach so high...we wait all day for the night to come" [occult initiation].

In God's Country

"See what's on the other side/ We need new dreams tonight [New Age]...desert rose [Rosicrucian]...like a siren she calls to me [Mystery Babylon]...Sad eyes, crooked crosses [sun-worship swastikas]...set me alight [lucifer]...the greatest gift is gold [not God]...She stands with a naked flame [lucifer]/ I stand with the Sons of Cain [Bono stands with the bloodline of wicked murderers].

"Sleep comes like a drug [melatonin/pineal gland/Third Eye/Morpheus].

Trip Through Your Wires

"Angel or devil [lucifer]...I'm waiting for you...thunder on the mountain [god of thunder]...I trip through your wires [I get caught in your trap]".

One Tree Hill

"Your sun's so bright it leaves no shadows, only scars" [lucifer]...We see the sun go down in your eyes [end times]...and in our world, a heart of darkness, a firezone [illumination]/ Where poets speak their hearts...I'll see you again when the stars fall from the sky [fallen angels/demons] and the moon has turned red" [Armageddon].

This song is officially about Bono's friend Greg Carroll, who was killed by a car while running an errand for Bono on Bono's motorcycle. One Tree Hill is in Auckland, New Zealand, although American country rocker Gram Parsons, an inspiration for the Joshua Tree album, is also symbolized by a Joshua tree on a one tree hill.

Exit

"You know he [Bono] got the cure [Jesus] but then he went astray...he wanted to believe...he went deeper into black, deeper into white [freemasonry]...he could see the stars shine like nails in the night" [Astrology. Nails=satan.].

Then he pulls a pistol and kills someone: "He saw the hands that build could also pull down...".

Robert John Bardo claimed that this song compelled him to kill actress Rebecca Schaeffer in 1989.

Where the Streets Have No Name

"I want to take shelter from the poison rain/ Where the streets have no name" (Bono wants to take shelter from the chemtrails by hiding in the Denver Airport underground city, "where the streets have no name"? This would help explain the multiple references to hills and mountains on The Joshua Tree album. U2 also visited a ghost town in California "where the streets have no name".)

"I want to reach out and touch the flame/ Where the streets have no name" (if you touch the flame, Bono, you're going to get burned).

"We're still building then burning down love" (i.e. "we're still deceiving fans with Bible quotes then leading them to Hell).

"Our love turns to rust" (Bono's love has been destroyed).

Bullet the Blue Sky

"Plant a demon seed, you raise a flower of fire" [nephilim, demons, the anti-Christ. Flower=Rosicrucian/hidden pentagram].

"In the howling wind comes a stinging rain/ See it driving nails into the souls of the tree of pain". This is the key to understanding Bono's pagan elemental imagery on The Joshua Tree (earth, wind, fire, rain). They are all connected as a powerful force that will bring relief to the spiritually barren desert of the United States. Bono's spiritual force is obviously demonic in nature, described repeatedly as "cold", "hard as stone", and "destructive".

"From the firefly [lucifer], a red, orange glow/ See the face of fear running scared in the valley below" ["Armageddon" is literally "mount-valley"].

Bono, of all people, should be aware that he "cannot serve two masters", as a "Good Bono" doing charity work, and a "Bad Bono" advocating satanic beliefs in his stage shows.

In Rattle and Hum, he sang "Helter Skelter" while swinging an upside-down cross.

He has also performed "Sympathy for the Devil" ("Just call me lucifer").

Notice the gold background, in separate pieces like a mosaic.

The icon style presents them as "human gods".

Also notice the upside-down white cross between the gold.

The four members of U2 are all lumped together to symbolize the occult belief that "We are All One".

They all show only one eye, symbolizing the Eye of Horus (satan).

Lastly, notice the gold hand at the bottom on the blue, perhaps pointing down toward their Master.

On the cover of Pop, the "U" is black and the "2" is white, a symbol of the balance of black and white.

The "U2" is flanked by two pentagrams (asterisks). The back cover has a Royal Arch. The cd is a rainbow, symbolizing the rainbow bridge of the occult and the gay power of the disco era.

Discotheque

The video featured U2 dressed up as the gay disco group The Village People. Bono and The Edge have some face time together. Alot of crotch close-ups, too. Larry has "Paiste" on his cymbal (I don't want to know what that means). At times, Bono's hands are tied behind his back. A stripper dances over a prostrate Edge. The wall behind Bono sometimes has three rows of six "X"es, or "666" in Roman numerals.

They rip off the riff from "The Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin for this song.

Bono sings "Looking for The One": One one level, it is about finding a lover and on another level, it is about searching for the anti-Christ.

"You take what you can get/ 'Cause it's all that you can find" (one night stand).

Do You Feel Loved

"Take these hands, they're good for nothing/ You know these hands never worked a day" (reference to the old adage "The devil finds work for idle hands". He is offering himself to the devil.).

"Take my shirt...off me...tear it up...tie me down" (S & M).

"Take this tangle of a conversation [Bono's words] and turn it into your own prayer".

"With my nails under your hide [nails=satan]/ With my teeth at your back [backbiting]/ And my tongue to tell you the sweetest lies [Judas]".

Mofo

Mofo is short for "motherf----er". Bono actually sings about his mother and himself in the song. He also sings the incestuous line "Woo me, sister".

"Lookin' for to save my [own] soul" (we cannot save ourselves without Jesus).

"Lookin' for the baby Jesus under the trash" (more irreverence for our Saviour from Bono).

"Lookin' for the father of my two little girls" (test tube babies?).

"...Got my straw in the lemonade" (eww).

"Still lookin' for the face I had before the world was made" (comparing himself to Jesus).

If God Will Send His Angels

One of Bono's many blasphemous "impatient with God" songs, as if God owes Bono any more than all the blessings he has already received. It's tough being a multi-millionaire loved all over the world, isn't it, Bono?

Other "impatient with God" lyrics by Bono are "Hurry Up, Dead Man" and the line "Haven't seen you in quite a while".

"God has got his phone off the hook, babe/ Would he even pick it up if he could?" (i.e. "God is not caring or omniscient").

"You see (Jesus') mother dealing [drugs] in a doorway...and Jesus' sister's eyes are a blister" (i.e. "Jesus can't heal the blind"). Bono is calling Jesus' precious mother Mary a drug dealer here.

Staring At the Sun

This song is about sun worship (lucifer).

"Stuck together with God's glue" (eww).

"Let's get undercover/ Don't try too hard to think/ Don't think at all" (one night stand).

"Those that can't do often have to preach" (Bono's confession that he doesn't "do as he preaches").

Last Night on Earth

The video featured gay junkie murderer William Burroughs.

"The more [drugs] you take the less you feel/ The more you have, the more it takes today [addiction]...You got to give it away [your virginity]"

"She's not waiting on a saviour to come" (she has no faith).

"She's living like it's the last night on earth" (drunken revelry/Armageddon).

Gone

Bono (2001): "That was a song about self-mutilation, torture, and mortality".

"I'll be up with the sun [lucifer], I'm not coming down".

"And I'm already gone/ Felt that way all along/ Closer to you [lucifer] every day/ Didn't want it [Heaven] that much anyway".

Bono dedicated this song to pedophile beat poet Allen Ginsberg.

This song is a protest against IRA "Christian terrorism".

Wake Up Dead Man

Another song by Bono mocking Jesus.

On the cover of Zooropa, the purple (Whore of Babylon) colours spell out "WAKEUPDE". The track was unfinished at the time.

"...a f----ed up world this is" (Bono is blaming Jesus for the state of the world. Without Jesus, it would be infinitely worse.).

"Wake up, dead man [Jesus]". Jesus is not "dead", He conquered death two thousand years ago.

"Jesus, were you just around the corner?" (i.e. "Jesus, you failed us by not keeping your promise to return, and I can't wait any longer").

Holy Joe

"I'm totally messed up in everybody's life/ Closer than ever to everybody's wife" (adultery).

I never realized that Bono's lyrics are so blasphemous, sinful, and pathetic. Remember Bono said "I only ever tell the truth in my songs".

Here are some 9/11 references in Bono's lyrics, predating 9/11:

"I see seven towers/ But I only see one way out/ You got to talk without speaking/ Cry without weeping/ Scream without raising your voice...She runs through the streets with her eyes painted red/ Under black belly of cloud in the rain...And the storm blows up in her eyes" ("Running to Stand Still").

Bono's song "One" is about the new world order. His work at the UN also supports the new world order.

For their Superbowl halftime show, U2 "destroyed" the list of 9/11 WTC victims on stage. Bono made a heart with his hands then transformed it into a pyramid- twice (love of the Egyptian Mysteries). The Edge was wearing a skull and butterfly t-shirt (Death worship, "Project Monarch").

For Achtung Baby, Bono sang and performed as "The Fly", a symbol of Beelzebub, the Lord of the Flies. "Zebub" is Hebrew for "flies".

In the song "Tryin' to Throw Your Arms Around the World", Bono agreed with Gloria Steinhem that "A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle". In other words, they believe that "Men are worthless and women should all be lesbians". Not exactly a Christian belief, since God made man and woman for each other.

Bono also sang as the effeminate horned MacPhisto (a Scottish version of Mephisto, aka satan), based on Richard Burton's character in the 1968 movie "Candy" about a salacious drunken poet who has orgies with young groupies. MacPhisto is based on Mephisto, the demon of the underworld that hates the Light of God.

Bono said he wished he had got in touch with his dark side sooner.

He used the F-word in "Wake Up Dead Man" on Pop, a song mocking Christ's allegedly "slow" return.

Watch U2's YouTube concert from 2009. After Bono tramples the American flag, the camera pans up to the "Eye of Horus" (satan). Larry Mullen wears a Scorpion King t-shirt. Jesus said "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions..." (Luke 10:19).

Even the name U2 is a hidden Utu, a pagan god you can read about on Wikipedia. In numerology, U is 21. 21+2=the occult number 23.

In Rwanda, the pagan Utu massacred the Christian Tutsi.

The name for the Master of the Rosicrucians is Tu (satan). This gives new meaning to the name U2 ("You, Tu") and their song called "Two Hearts Beat as One" ("Tu Hearts Beat as One", or "Devil Hearts Beat as One" to Rosicrucians). The lyrics have more "We are all One" new world order-type lyrics: "I don't know which side I'm on [neither do we -ed.]...I don't know my right from wrong" (great spiritual leader here)....I can't stop the dance/Maybe this is our last chance" (the new world order?).

The lyrics to New Year's Day also smack of globalism ("We can be One...maybe the time is right...maybe tonight"), and especially the U2 song "One" ("One love, One blood, One life").

In the blasphemous song "Until the End of the World", Bono is Judas mocking Jesus for being so serious at the Last Supper. He mocks Jesus for being late (or never coming back) in the opening line: "Haven't seen you in quite a while". The Bible says that God does things "In His time", not to please Bono.

The perverted homoerotic lyrics of the song suggest that Judas had sexual relations with Jesus: "I was down the hole just passing time", "(In) a low-lit room we was/Close together as a bride and groom", "I spiked (drugged) your drink" (for rape), "You lead me on with those innocent eyes" (i.e. "It's your fault I raped you"), "I was playing the tart/I kissed your lips and broke your heart" (Judas kiss), "Going down on me/Spilling over the brim" (oral sex and ejaculation).

He recommends that we should "Do What Thou Wilt" without thinking (like satanist Aleister Crowley did): "You miss too much these days if you stop to think".

Bono even admits that he "Reached out for the one that he tried to destroy" (Jesus), taking millions of fans with him. Yes, Bono portrays the ultimate traitor Judas well. As Bono once said, "I only ever tell the truth in my songs".

The song concludes with Judas being forgiven eternally and going to Heaven. In your dreams, Bono.

This is just a very brief list.

Memorizing the Bible is alot different from following the Bible. The Pharisees knew the Holy Books by heart, but the meaning wasn't in their hearts, so they angered Jesus more than anyone else. Are U2's Biblical quotes meant to show their faith or to deceive their millions of fans who have faith?

Bono was given an honorary knighthood by Queen Elizabeth in 2007, which they say only masons can receive. Another recipient was vaccine fanatic Bill Gates. Many vaccines contain harmful contaminants.

Was Bono given a mission by the establishment to redistribute the wealth from the west to the Third World? This would saddle Western countries with more insurmountable debt. The millions Bono raised may also be used to finance ruthless dictators and to buy deadly vaccines to depopulate Africa. Hope I'm wrong. He seems to hang out with every evil leader and politician in the world 'though, doesn't he?

And, what a surprise, Bono is now pushing for an African Union. That should make the New World Order about ten percent easier to achieve, eh Bono?

Bono went to Bohemian Grove in 2006, presumably to make mock child sacrifices to the giant Owl of Lilith like everyone else does there. He certainly has experience dressing in drag, due to his MacPhisto character.

Bono portrayed New Age drug dealer Dr. Robert in the 2007 movie Across the Universe.

Bono's philanthropy is praised on the website of the Lucis Trust, formerly known as Lucifer Trust. Luciferians believe that evil acts must be balanced and covered up by their tax-exempt "good" acts, most of which fuel their own subversive agendas for a New World Order.

U2 is obviously very talented. In the early days, they seemed more reverent and that is when they made their most powerful and spiritual music. I hope they return to their roots one day, and I wish them well.
