Another local, and global, phenomenon is a low humming with no visible source. Sometimes this hum is strong enough to shake the dishes. This is happening all over the world, including here:

I do not know how to prevent being affected by electromagnetic and acoustic weaponry. Perhaps a Faraday Cage helmet, like they use at the HAARP facility in Alaska.
