I have come to realize that satire is being used as a tool of disinformation against us. If it's funny, it must be harmless, right? Wrong.
First of all what is disinformation and how does it differ from misinformation?
Misinformation is merely information that is incorrect. An intention to deceive is not necessary. For example, if you tell someone that the meeting today is at 1 pm but then you realize it is at 12 noon, you have unintentionally misinformed them.
Disinformation is defined as "the dissemination of intentionally false information to deliberately confuse or mislead".
Disinformation (false or deliberately misleading propaganda) was used extensively in World War II. An example would be dropping leaflets from a plane saying "Your leader has been killed. Surrender immediately" when the leader, in fact, has not been killed.
I have recently noticed this same disinformation tool being used in comedy satire. Do you want to cover up a scandal? No problem, just make a satire of it, a "mockumentary", and the viewing public will consider the original scandal a farce, or, better yet, non-existent.
Here are five examples of what I am talking about:

Did these extremely busy people who need no money really put their lives on hold just to make a few people laugh? Or were the conspiracy theories about a possible faked moon landing discredited with damage control propaganda like this?
That depends how much you trust the above high ranking masons and members of the Bohemian Grove, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderberg Group, and the United Nations (the new world order).
Let's face it: If they had wanted to film the moonlanding on Earth with slow-motion film, would it not have been easy? And saved alot of money for other things? And allowed perfect lighting? By the way, in 2005, Christiane Kubrick said she regretted her involvement in the "Dark Side of the Moon" film because she was "tricked" into taking part, and her resultant quotes were edited and used out of context. Sounds par for the course for these individuals.
Film number three is "Spinal Tap". "Waitaminute", you say, "Surely you don't take Spinal Tap seriously?". Your incredulity is a perfect example of why satire works so well. The natural response is "It's just a joke, lighten up". But is it always "just a joke" or is it sometimes set up as a joke to deceive us?
Humour is a powerful weapon because it relaxes us and we let our guard down. It's hard to laugh and worry at the same time. It's hard to laugh and be suspicious at the same time. That is what the psychological manipulators are banking on. This form of psychological warfare is known as "falsified metacommunication" (multi-layered lies).
Like most people, I didn't believe that Spinal Tap was anything but a harmless spoof of heavy metal.
Then they performed "Christmas with the Devil" on Saturday Night Live, and I thought "this isn't funny, it's using alleged 'comedy' to promote satanism to a larger audience".
When Spinal-Tapper and freemason Harry Shearer made a spoof of Bohemian Grove called "Teddy Bears' Picnic", the light bulbs went off in my mind. Now I could see that his motive, not only for Teddy Bears' Picnic, but also for Spinal Tap and all other subversive satire films, was disinformation through satire.
I now believe that Spinal Tap was made to promote the idea that satan-worshipping heavy metal music is a "harmless joke" made by buffoons. Belief in the devil's existence is portrayed as a joke as well. If it's all a "harmless joke", then why bother opposing it? Thus opposition is quashed.
What better way to indoctrinate evil than to pretend that it is a harmless joke? If someone catches on to their dissemination of perverted ideas through comedy, call them "close-minded" or "fanatics" who are trying to "censor artistic freedom".
What is the true agenda of modern comedy? To make us laugh? Swearing and perversion isn't necessary for that. For thousands of years we have had comedy without swearing or perversion.

Shearer also claimed that (despite being a freemason "just down the road" from the Grove), he had never been to the Grove before he was asked to make the film, and claimed that he was "coincidentally" invited there, and went there for the first time purely "for research". Yeah, right.

Don't get me wrong, not all satires are subversive. Charlie Chaplin's satire of Hitler in "The Great Dictator" was wonderful. Actually, it was subversive, too, but because it was anti-evil, it was subversive in a good way. Hitler was infuriated when he heard about a Jewish comedian deflating him through comedy, because he knew the effectiveness of comedy to reduce his power of fear-mongering.
I am not suggesting that we shouldn't laugh, we should just be mindful of what we are laughing at.
